What a Monday Morning

Every Monday morning we have our weekly meeting, and each time there is a 'Tree of the Week.' With this, we play games, like fun facts, or making a tree rap. Usually we all make up a short chorus, and everyone takes turns with their verses. Well, today, was the ultimate beat mix. Jeremy Loops, musician and also one of the directors at Greenpop, brought out his recording equipment and I'd say we made an amazing chorus. (Although the raps were good, this beat definitely wins). Unfortunately, I cannot upload the music here, so check my Facebook!

We played the mix throughout the day, whenever we needed to take a break from work and get moving. It was definitely an awesome way to switch up things in the office.

I also cooked my last Greenpop lunch today.. it was delicious! Vegan of course, Milly and I made wraps with lots of veggies and garbanzo beans. I'm definitely going to miss the amazing meals in the office, I can't really remember a time when lunch was ever bad. With awesome veggies from our local grocery store and herbs and chiles (extremely hot, by the way) from the balcony, we cannot go wrong. I may start crying from chopping onions, or the unbearable spice of too much chile in one bite, but I can't say it lacks flavor.

A great day at the office, my last real day of work is tomorrow. Can't believe it! I really don't want to leave.

Not your average Monday morning

Ever since Platbos, I fell in love with the tapestries (which were actually used as bathroom curtains...) but anyways, the fabric was really awesome and I definitely have been trying to find some since. When I asked Greenpop where they got them, they said they're all from Zambia.. damn. But today, I found some in the office, and Milly said I could buy one from them, and they could just buy a new one in Zambia!  So happy! The best part, I got an awesome patterned tapestry... for R14... aka $2, not even. STOKED.

Awesome Greenpop momento!
