Hey there!

Graphic design was my first passion, but in 2017 I found a second one: programming. I graduated from Alchemy Code Lab and have been a professional software engineer ever since.

Today I’m a Senior Software Engineer at SurveyMonkey, where I help build and maintain the Marketing Design System behind surveymonkey.com. Over nearly a decade in engineering, I’ve built design systems from scratch, led a site-wide typography redesign, and brought a healthcare app up to WCAG accessibility standards. I work mostly on the front end in React and TypeScript, but I’m comfortable across the stack when a feature needs it.

My design background shapes how I build. I care about the details that make an interface feel right, and I want to make the handoff between designers and developers as smooth as possible. I build components with Figma and design-system MCPs, and I’ve helped my team adopt Claude Skills and MCPs in their everyday work.

I love well-formatted docs, and I believe in always leaving code and documentation better than I found them.

Some of my work with AI includes

Building Claude skills with Figma MCP, internal design system MCP and the official Wordpress MCP. I’ve automated workflows for building Wordpress blocks, creating new pages and uploading media. I created a skill for detecting bots in marketing data, outputs to a Slackbot and completes the entire workflow autonomously in Workato.

Our days as Software Engineers has changed dramatically over the past year and I embrace the uncertainty by learning as much as I can every single day.
