From Graphic Designer to Software Engineer

Hey! I’m Meryl.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer specializing in design systems and accessible front-end architecture, with 9+ years building and scaling React component libraries. My background in graphic design bridges the gap between design and engineering.

I’ve spent a majority of the past decade authoring reusable, WCAG-compliant UI components and leading front-end modernization efforts.

Currently leading design-system strategy and AI-tooling adoption at SurveyMonkey.
