Coffee: A designer's best friend.

Not only do I enjoy a tasty brew every now and then, (or everyday), coffee is definitely another one of my preferred beverages. Getting my daily fix is very important, and as a designer it keeps my creative juices flowing.. or at least I like to think so. (Sometimes the Greenpop office is so chilly I just like having a hot beverage in my hands) Another amazing aspect of Cape Town is the coffee culture; all around the city, in all different neighborhoods lie local artisan cafes, who make a mean cup of joe.

So as I continue my journey (which is now officially halfway over!.....) I intend to embrace this coffee culture and indulge myself in espresso heaven.

It really is.

It really is.

Fair Trade Coffee= even better.

Fair Trade Coffee= even better.

Not only does all the coffee shops in town look delicious, their branding is AWESOME. As a designer I can't help but take notice, and clearly the better the look and feel of the brand, the more likely I am to want to go and try their product. So with four weeks left, the coffee adventure (continues) ! A girl (and designer) can never have too much coffee, its a culture within itself, just like craft beer. So not only am I tasting new and creative beverages, but discovering a way of life of coffee as a whole, and within these individual cafes. Keep calm and brew on! Coffee and craft beer that is :)
